This 5-day course offers a deep dive into key mechanisms for developing and implementing effective strategies and building agile organizations.

Key topics include strategy deployment structures, process management, value stream management, balanced scorecards, OKR, Hoshin Kanri, and process design.

The course content is identical to the Business Black Belt course, except it excludes the two-day introduction to data analysis and visualization.
It is not a requirement, but it is recommended that you have already completed the Green Belt Lean Six Sigma course.

    • Overarching, practical model for strategy development and implementation
    • Core values and Lean management principles to shape the culture
    • Hoshin Kanri as a process for strategy development and implementation
    • Balanced Scorecard and OKR as methods in the strategy process
    • Business Process Management (BPM) as a key component in strategy development
    • BPM to ensure operational control and continuous improvement of performance
    • Value Stream Management (VSM) as a framework for targeted improvement of end-to-end performance
    • Value stream maps to focus and improve the business ecosystem analysis
  • Session 2 (2 days)

    Content:

    • Design and implementation of Operational Excellence and Business Improvement Programs
    • How to use the Business Improvement System (BIS) for implementing various staff initiatives, including Quality, Sustainability, Compliance, Brand, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
    • Presentation of a case study on the strategic use of the OpEx / Improvement program to achieve ambitious goals for organizational efficiency
    • Review of the DMAIC and DMADV/DADIC methods for process improvement and process design projects
    • Application of the DMADV/DADIC method in digitization projects
