This course is designed for managers and professionals driving the work to improve the organization's performance. The focus is on methods and tools for strategic analysis, planning and follow-up.

You will learn how to combine different well known management frameworks to build an agile organisation and achieve ambitious goals.

It is not a requirement, but it is recommended that you have already completed the Green Belt Lean Six Sigma course.

The course is part of Aksena's Black Belt course.

    The course introduces important methods and tools for strategic analysis and development of the organization.

    • What a Business System is and why it is important
    • What Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is and how it can be used for development, communication and deployment of strategy
    • What Business Process Management (BPM) is and how it can be used to gain control of and further develop the company’s value-creating processes
    • What Value Stream Management (VSM) is and how it can be used to improve end-to-end performance for products and services.
    • How Hoshin Kanri from Lean and the theories from the Green Belt course can be used to design the process for strategy deployment
    • How core values ​​and Lean management principles establish a framework for behavior and decisions
    • How to establish and further develop a program for internal business development (strategic improvement program)
    • How operational assessment based on the theories in the Green Belt and Black Belt can be used to develop the overall business improvement system
    • How organizational flexibility can be increased through agile planning and implementation at all levels.
